NEWS Server

Receive latest NEWS feeds in your inbox by subscribing to NewsGroups within your email client!

Simply add the Server Name (IP Address) to the 'News' section in your email client! Please note that there is NO posting allowed on the news server.

The NEWS Server name (IP Address) is: news.readfreenews.net

No login name or password is needed!

Here's an example of how to set this up within MS Outlook Express:

Select Tools from the top menu panel in Outlook Express

Select Account

Select Add

Select News

Type in your name, Click Next

Type in Your email Address (i.e. yourname@purespeed.com), Click Next

Type in the address for the NEWS Server, news.readfreenews.net

Make sure 'my news server requires me to login' is NOT checked, Click Next

Click Finish

You will be prompted with a question 'Would you like to download NewsGroups?' Select Yes to download all available news groups.

After the download is complete, you may browse through the list of news groups, highlight and select 'Subscribe' to any of the News feeds you wish to receive in your inbox.
