*NEW* SET UP EMAIL SMTP AUTHENTICATION Note: You may need SMTP authentication before allowing e-mail to be sent through your SMTP servers. The configuration changes required in e-mail clients are very easy to perform. In some cases, SMTP authentication is enabled by default. Please note that these guides only apply to those using POP and SMTP mail services. Exchange accounts are not affected by this change, so if you have an Exchange account, this will not apply to you. Please select one of the tutorials below to learn how to setup SMTP Authentication
Use Different POP and SMTP Accounts with EUDORA: Unlike most e-mail programs, Eudora does not support SMTP login information that is different from POP login information in a single personality. However, there is a workaround that allows Eudora to support SMTP login information different from the POP login information. This workaround requires the use of two personalities and combines them in such a way that one personality retrieves mail and the other sends mail. This workaround is described for the following Eudora versions.
